AIROAD
The challenge
The main goal of the project is the design and development of a image processing tool based of innovative AI algorithms, allowing the identification of significant changes on road assets in order to authomatically generate a list of manteinance and conservation tasks.
The solution
A complete software-hardaware system that can be easily installed in regular vehicles generally used for road maintenance. The system identifies all significant changes on the status of road assets, mainly focusing on road surface, road signs and marks, beaconing, hard shoulders or drainage, among others.
