EasySafe: Road Safety
Challenge
The objective of the project is to improve road safety, paying special attention to the following scenarios: presence of wildlife on the road or risk of approaching it; vehicles travelling in the opposite direction to the established one and crossings and intersections with poor visibility.
Solution
The project consists of the development of a low-cost monitoring system consisting of a network of wireless sensors with high autonomy and low maintenance requirements. This system is capable of detecting risks and warning, by means of signals, the drivers so they could reduce speed and increase the precaution, avoiding accidents.
