Development of an automatic and portable system of typological characterization and the state of the light installations, able to establish the real brightness rates at each point of light and allowing the subsequent realization of  proposal of technological changes and powers optimization.

Goals

The Laserlight project is about of the development of a portable laser-based road lighting inspection and optimization tool. It is a portable prototype tool, based on advanced technologies never used before in this field, of inspection, technical assessment, lighting and the measure of energy-efficient solutions for the street lighting.

The purpose is to improve efficiency and reduce the energy consumption through the selection and location of lighting systems, enabling the analysis of the existing facilities.

  • Reducing the operational costs of stocktaking and lamps inspection due to an automatic tool. It is expected an operating time savings of 90%
  • To cut engineering costs for the estimation of the energetic efficiency proposals. Engineering cost savings of 95% are expected
  • Offer an advanced tool that reduces maintenance costs for lighting facilities
