Take advantage of and revalue the sludge generated in the wastewater treatment process to produce a highly efficient adsorbent material that can be used as a base element in the deodorization system in the WWTP.


Development of an adsorbent material, called ECOLODO, from sewage sludge through a self-sustaining pyrolysis process.

The process is complemented with an activation by iron nanoparticles, which improves the removal of sulfur compounds and other odoriferous compounds.
