Montraffic: Traffic Monitoring
Challenge
The objective of this project is the automatic capacity control, a task of vital importance for the management and maintenance of the road network, as well as for traffic modelling, facilitating a correct prediction and adaptation of the roads to the needs of the same.
Solution
Development of a system for controlling and monitoring vehicle traffic on roads, using optical devices and image processing. It is a portable system, easy to transport and install and with unlimited possibilities of deployment, which does not require any kind of previous infrastructure, being easily installable in any location of the road network.
