To study the feasibility of the use of Concentrated Solar Power (CSP) systems as the main energy source for the reverse osmosis process for the treatment and decontamination of acidic mine drainage.


Development of a pressure exchange system (steam-powered pump) that takes advantage of the high-pressure steam generated in solar thermal systems to feed reverse osmosis, thus replacing the high-pressure pump.
