Sacyr seeks to promote its growth in sustainability-related business. To do so, it has created two new companies under Sacyr Services specializing in this field: Sacyr Circular and Sacyr Green.

Sacyr Circular will manage Sacyr Services’ municipal solid waste and sludge treatment plants. The company has 21 facilities of this type in Spain and another one in Australia, which provide service to approximately 5.5 million people. In total, these facilities treat 3.1 million tons of waste every year. 

In the future, this activity, which produces long-term contracts, will be transferred to Sacyr Concesiones, as it encompasses all of the Sacyr Group’s P3 assets.

Sacyr Green is a company of new creation specializing in the development of green businesses with high potential and related to sustainability.

Sacyr is already present in some of these activities, such as the recycling of end-of-life tires and their recovery as construction material for roads or playgrounds, recycling of construction waste, and energy efficiency, among others. 

Sacyr Services

Sacyr Services plays a critical role in Sacyr’s P3 activity model as a generator of value and sustainability.

Sacyr Services had revenues of €1,017 million in 2021 and is now expanding its activities in the priority markets for the Group, like Spain, Chile, or Colombia.
